Because I'm in know particular hurry to finish this scarf, I only knit on it once a day. However, I've been knitting on it now for 3 days and already have 13 1/2 inches. Its coming along nicely and knitting up fairly fast. Since this is a fairly easy pattern, I can now knit it with out the pattern, but I still have to count every row to make sure I increase and decrease where I'm supposed to. This also helps when I'm fixing to change the direction of the zig zag pattern. Widening the scarf a bit gives it a little more warmth around the neck too. Since the pattern says to knit it to 72 inches I only need to knit 58.5 more inches. hehehehe That shouldn't take me too much longer since I'm using size 9 needles to knit this scarf.
