On Monday a customer contacted me and asked if I could knit her up some scrunch socks along with some handwarmers. I told her I could and made her up and invoice. Then I pulled out the yarn that she wanted the scrunch socks and handwarmers made out of, then started looking for patterns. I found the pattern for the handwarmers (Riverside Handwarmers) on Ravelry and saw a pattern for scrunch socks there too, however my budget is a little tight at the moment and so I had to pass on the scrunch socks pattern on Ravelry.
I continued looking high and low for a scrunch sock pattern that was free and finally came up with this pattern. The pattern is http://www.soxie.com/accordiansox.html/ its not really a scrunch sock but it looks like it knit up fast and easy.
I started knitting on it this morning. So far I have about 1 1/2 inches done on it. I haven't worked on it much though today. This is due to given my 4 Shih Tzu's a bath, doing laundry and knitting on my mom's socks too.
I'm knitting these Accordian Socks with Alchemy Juniper Amethyst Sock Yarn for the first pair and the second pair will be knitted with Alchemy Juniper Jade Sock Yarn.
