Yesterday the postman rang the bell and my 4 shih tzu's went ballistic as usual. I went to the door fighting my way through dogs that wanted out of the house to chase and play with the postman. LOL I opened the door just wide enough to look out and find a box left for me. This box contained the new wool that I had ordered on Saturday.
I brought the box inside the house, told Choo-Choo, Sue-chi, Brutis and Ti to hush and then walked down the hall to my spinning room. I placed the box on the floor (without even opening it), and proceeded back into the living room, where I was knitting on my mom's and brother's socks.
Later that night, after hubby came home and dinner was eaten, I proceeded to open the box. My hubby loves the English Garden Wool. I have plans already for the White Falkland Wool. I think after I get it spun up I will be dying it. I haven't decided on what the colors will be as of yet. But if anyone has some suggestions, I'd be willing to look into it.

- My name is Virginia (aka Ginny). I’m 48 yrs old. I was born in Merced, California. I started knitting when I was 8 years old and crocheting when I was 9. In 1998 I bought my first weaving loom and for Christmas that year my hubby bought me a spinning wheel. I’ve been weaving, spinning since then. In March 2004 I started my own business called Spinning Ginny’s Handspun Yarn and Other Gifts. I’ve been knitting socks, scarves, dish cloths, baby blankets and hats. I love spinning wool, weaving scarves, dish towels and coverlet squares. I also love to make handmade goats milk soap.
