SSYC February Kal

This morning I cast on for the SSYC February Kal around 9:00 am. I am using Alchemy Juniper Rio colorway. I bought this yarn last month from SSYC, but at the time I wasn't sure what sock pattern I'd use it for, or when I would be knitting with it. Then I came across the SSYC group on Ravelry and saw that they were talking about knitting some socks as a kal starting on February 1st. So I went to looking for a sock pattern and came across Ribbed Ribbons Socks from the book Socks From The Toe Up by Wendy Johnson.

Then this morning I started casting on using my Alchemy Juniper Rio colorway. I'm using my size 1 circular knitting needles and Judy's Magic cast on, to knit these socks. So far I'm enjoying knitting up this pattern and like the way its looking as well. I will post pictures, when I have more knitted up to show off the pattern.
