Back in the grove again

Spinning Day at Spinning Ginny's is just starting. Choo-Choo (lower right), Sue-Chi (upper right), Brutis & Ti (upper left). They like to curl up where the sun comes in from the windows of my Spinning Room. They keep me company while I spin (even if they sleep through it all).

My Spinning Wheel is all ready for me to start spinning up more Majestic Sky Merino Silk. I had started spinning this up originally in Yuma, Arizona. I had even knitted a pair of socks out of a skein of yarn that I had spun up while there. Then I spun up another skein of yarn just before packing everything up to move back home to Winchendon, MA. Yesterday I spun up another skein of yarn and listed 2 skeins in my store at http://www.spinningginny.com/ . I still have a lot more to spin up, so I just might get another skein or 2 added to my store.

I just finished carding up some Red Merino with some White Merino to make some Christmas Yarn. I'm spinning this on my Schacht Drop Spindle. This yarn is starting to remind me of Peppermint Candy. I haven't decided what I'll knit with it when I get all the wool carded and spun. Although, a nice warm sweater would be nice....or a nice warm hat.....or scarf.....maybe even some mittens......now that the weather is getting colder.
